“Pieces meant to be used, passed, shared, and loved over time.”

Lisa Zenkel Sheldon is a Los Angeles–based ceramic artist who designs plates and serving pieces under the name Lisa Z. Sheldon Fine Stoneware. Her work is created for the home and meant to be used, passed, shared, and loved over time.

Each piece is hand-built using the finest Moroccan clay, then finished with artisanal, one-of-a-kind, jewel-colored glazes that catch the light and bring quiet richness to any setting.

Influenced by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, Lisa embraces gentle asymmetry, subtle irregularities, and the natural character of the clay. No two pieces are ever exactly alike; each one carries its own personality and presence.

Her pieces can be purchased as place settings or as individual works of art. She approaches her creations through the principles of Feng Shui to ensure they resonate with a palpable energy and reflect one’s inner world through exquisite design.

Lisa believes that home is about curating one’s soul within their environment. It’s the inner stability and wholeness we create in our personal sanctuaries. When we surround ourselves with beauty that reflects our personality, we can feel at home anywhere.

Guided by a background in history of art with an M.S.W. in clinical social work, and as a certified Hatha Yoga teacher, Lisa approaches her craft with an emphasis on intention, connection, and ritual. She believes that the plates and serving pieces we gather around can shape how we experience a home, an environment, a meal—and one another. Her stoneware is designed to make even the simplest moments feel a little more exquisite, grounded, and alive.

She previously designed Lisa Sheldon Fine Jewelry, sold through Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, and worn by many acclaimed celebrities and well-known fashion icons.

Lisa has two adult children and lives in Los Angeles, where she creates bespoke stoneware collections for thoughtful tastemakers seeking soulful gatherings.
